About West End at Home

West End at Home is a ‘Songs from the Shows’ concert that incorporates five artists from notable West End and even Broadway musicals, a live twelve-piece band and an ensemble gathered from an audition process from the local conurbation relevant to each venue.

It is a project that provides enormous educational value and community affiliation with the aim to encourage the ensemble and audience to experience this creative environment highlighting the many disciplines needed at all levels to produce a high quality public performance.

Each attendee will obtain an accelerated degree of development and understanding both in personal and career terms by experiencing the presentational skills of singing, choreography and acting. They will be integrated into a weeklong rehearsal period that neither patronises nor undervalues their input due to presumptions of talent and ability at a younger age.

This project creates ideal press and publicity opportunities as well as sponsorship prospects for corporate bodies by supporting this event through ‘Scholarships’ and ‘Discretionary Assisted Places’ to ensemble members based on talent. As there is a cost relating to the weeklong non-residential rehearsal/workshop prior to the Sunday concert that is charged at £195.00 per successful participant; we feel it necessary to offer this kind of financial incentive.

We recognises the benefits of integrating young performers into this environment and in the interest of all provide artists favoured in many of today’s top musical presentations. It is also the only one of its kind in the United Kingdom and guarantees to provide each young performer a true insight into the world of the Musical Theatre Industry as well as an exceptionally exciting and special evening concert.

Disclaimer: The material presented in ‘West End at Home’ is not a dramatic interpretation, adaptation or character representation nor does it constitute a precise of abridged version of the original musical play. ‘West End at Home’ is a concert presentation.
